We are using a BlueROV2 to survey kelp forests in Puget Sound and the outer Washington coast. This project expands upon current long term monitoring projects that are being conducted by the Seattle Aquarium. The goal of this work is to better understand kelp forest dynamics by recording species present as well as substrate type.
