Manipulate annotations and point locations

First a note on the semantic for source vs. image level with regards to point generation method and image annotation area (both referred to below as "settings"): If you change the source level settings, it does NOT affect the images settings for previously uploaded images. If you want to update the settings for these images, you must click the corresponding buttons as detailed below.

Information

  • Point generation method: Point generation method for this image. If this differs from the source default , the source default will also be displayed.
  • Annotation area: Annotation area for this image. If this differs from the source default, the source default will also be displayed. An option to edit the image level annotation area appears if the image doesn't have any human annotations.
  • Annotation status: Annotation completion-status for this image.
  • Last annotation update: Information on the latest annotation activity on this image. (Not shown if there are no annotations yet.)

Action buttons

  • Regenerate point locations: This button will re-generate the point locations according to the image level point generation method. ONLY SHOWN IF: image doesn't have any human annotations
  • Reset point generation method: This will change the image level point generation method to the source level default. It will also re-generate the point locations. ONLY SHOWN IF: image doesn't have any human annotations
  • Reset annotation area: This will change the image level annotation area to the source level default. It will also re-generate the point locations. ONLY SHOWN IF: image doesn't have any human annotations
  • Delete image annotations: Remove all annotations (both human and machine) for the image. ONLY SHOWN IF: image has human annotations
